Welcome to the adventure

Based in Totteridge, High Wycombe, we are an active and vibrant Sea Scout Group, every week young people join us from the surrounding area to experience everyday adventure and take part in our Scouting programme.

We prepare young people with skills for life. From survival skills, first aid, cooking and even expedition skills that can lead on to Duke of Edinburgh Awards. It’s a great way to have fun, make friends, get outdoors, express your creativity and experience the wider world. There’s something for every young person, whatever their physical ability.

We believe in bringing people together. We celebrate diversity and stand against intolerance. We’re part of a worldwide movement, creating stronger communities and inspiring positive futures.

What do Scouts do?

Scouts are give-it-a-go-ers and do-ers. Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing. But we also get to hang out with our friends every week –  playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges but most importantly having fun!

There’s No Better Time To Join The Adventure

It doesn’t matter whether it’s you or your child who wants to join us, or even if your child is of joining age yet or not, because you can sign up now and ensure they are allocated a place when it becomes available.

Our Dedicated Adult Volunteers…

Makes us one of the largest, luckiest, and most family-friendly Groups in the District and with the Association’s training scheme, we are a highly-skilled bunch of people too. But we need help. Check out our opportunities to see how you can help.

Made for Adventure

Adventure is at the heart of everything we do. It is the single most important thing that sets Scouts apart. Through the everyday adventure of Scouting, young people and adult volunteers regularly experience new challenges that enrich their lives.

Enjoy exciting, challenging, and stimulating activities weekly. This has a positive impact on their lives.
